Latest windows 10 update problems
Latest windows 10 update problems
Hello, I've updated windows last night to it latest version on my desktop. I've found some issues, such as: Programs won't load, can't delete my optional updates, almost nothing will open. I've searched up the problem on my laptop. And it seems like a lot of people are having the same issues. Any idea on how to uninstall this optional update? I can't access the update history in any way

Hi,
Please update ASTER to latest version,
http://www.ibik.ru/download/Aster/v2_27 ... ER2272.exe
This version support latest windows build up to 19041
After updating, extend the desktop, set up the resolution for every monitor, check other devices connected (in the Workplaces tab).
Then enable Aster and run workplaces.

Please accept my gratitude for supplying such valuable information.
Re: Latest windows 10 update problems
It sounds like the update may have caused system instability or a corrupted installation, especially if multiple apps and system features are no longer opening. Since you can’t access Update History, one option is to try booting into Safe Mode and then using System Restore to roll back to a point before the update.
If Safe Mode works, you can also try uninstalling the latest quality/optional update via Control Panel or Advanced Startup options. Another approach is using Windows Recovery Environment (Shift + Restart → Troubleshoot → Advanced options → Uninstall Updates).
If none of that works, a repair install (using Windows Media Creation Tool) might be necessary to fix system components without wiping files.

Re: Latest windows 10 update problems
I had a similar issue after a Windows 10 update. Booting into Safe Mode and uninstalling the latest quality update solved it for me. Hopefully you can get access to recovery options if Settings won't open.
